… after worried mother tracks cell phone
New York – A Guyanese man, Quynton Ross, 32, was discovered dead in a trash bag after his worried mother pinged his phone.
According to a New York Daily News story, Ross, a father of one, was last seen around 08:00hrs Sunday.
The body of a 32-year-old Queens’ man was found inside a trash bag on a Far Rockaway beach Monday morning after the man’s mom grew worried and tracked his phone, cops said.
His mother pinged his phone Sunday night and ended up at the boardwalk. She didn’t find anything then but returned in the morning to discover a bag containing bloody clothes, cops said.
She called cops around 09:50hrs and they found a second garbage bag with a body inside at Beach 40th Street between Edgemere Avenue and the boardwalk.
“She’s taking it pretty hard,” said Ross’s uncle, Patrice Jacobs, 43. “It was her only son.”
He took his sister, Guliana Jacobs, to St. John’s Episcopal Hospital because she was beside herself with grief.
He said the family used the Find My Phone app to locate Ross.
Ross is a photographer and has a daughter with his girlfriend, he said.
