DEAR EDITOR,
After reading your article in a recent Kaieteur edition, I went back to the Guyana constitution, section 90, and cannot find the word consecutive. So I am confused.
It is stated that someone can only be re-elected once. I read that to mean that the two terms can either be consecutive or with a break in between….but just two terms.
Am I reading the wrong version of the Constitution?
Thank you for helping me to get the facts.
