Customers and dealers of Banks DIH Limited were given a first-hand look at the company’s modernization programme following a tour of the Thirst Park Complex, East Bank Demerara on Wednesday last.
According to the company, Clifford Reis, its Chairman and Managing Director, described the customers as very “valuable partners” to Banks DIH Limited. He expressed gratitude to them for taking time off to visit the operations so that they would have a greater appreciation and help to market the company’s products.
“We are building our relationships with our shareholders, employees and our valued customers and dealers. You are very valuable to us because you are at the forefront of selling our products,” Reis said while lauding their commitment and dedication.
Banks DIH said it will now be offering more support to the dealers through credit, merchandising and other facilities.
The dealers visited the newly-upgraded multi-million-dollar brewery and cellars, beer bottling, ice cream, Tropical Mist and soft-drink plants and the rum factory.
Carlton João, Sales and Marketing Executive, said this is part of a series of tours planned for dealers who are spread across Guyana.
“The tours have been organized to foster closer relationships with the distributors of Banks DIH Limited from near and far who can also raise their concerns with management,” the company said.
Also present at a Wednesday’s event were George McDonald, Co-Managing Director/Marketing Director; Andrew Carto, Human Resources Director; members of the Executive Management team, brand managers and other staff of the Sales and Marketing Department.
