Saheed Mohamed slammed a fine half century as host Everest Cricket Club defeated Gandhi Youth Organisation (GYO) by 38 runs in a specially arranged 35- over match on Saturday last. Everest took first strike and posted 203 all out in 29.2 overs.
Mohamed stroked twelve fours in his 57, while Garfield De Roche claimed 4-33 and Wazeer Mohamed 2-22. GYO were bowled out for 165 in 28 overs in reply. Mohamed top scored with 55 with nine fours as Raphael Singh snared 4-31 and Saheed Mohamed 3-19.
