Letter to the Sports Editor…‘A Woman’s Dominance’, Dominoes on the rise in Guyana

Dear Editor,  
Please Mr. Editor allow me to further introduce with compliments, this dynamic personality Mrs. Faye Joseph. She happens to be the first female president of the Georgetown Dominoes Association. I would even extend to say the only female president of that sport in the Caribbean. Mr. Editor, I was encouraged to pen this letter because of the determination and courage she has shown managing in her capacity of this popular countrywide sport.
I often go to see competitions and I am amazed to see how well she interacts and entertains her fellow players and supporters. She is also a very good player and often gives a good account of herself when competing with males.
Mr. Editor, words are limited for me to recall this individual’s achievement. I conclude in saying that dominoes is on the rise in Guyana, keep up the good work Mrs. President.
