A Guyanese man working on a house in California, Trinidad and Tobago reportedly fell to his death Wednesday, news reports said.
The deceased was identified as Junior Sammy, who had been staying at Charles Street, Gasparillo, according to the Trinidad Express.
According to a police report, Sammy and four other employees of Stephen Babwah Contracting Services of Couva were working at a house at LP# 2 Phoenix Park Road.
Police said at around 11 a.m., Sammy was standing on scaffolding raised some 14 feet, when he fell to the ground.
Employees contacted paramedics, but Sammy, who appeared to have head injuries, had already died.
