Table Tennis Academy (TTA) A and B, Malteenoes Sports Club (MSC) A and Bank of Guyana (BOG) A notched up victories when the Guyana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) league tournament continued on Saturday last at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall, Mandela Avenue.
Playing in the B Class division, Table Tennis Academy A defeated Blue Thunder “B” and A teams 3-0 and 3-1 respectively, while Malteenoes SC A overcame Blue Thunder B and Malteenoes SC B 3-1 and 3-0 in that order.
Table Tennis Academy continued their dominance in the C Class. Their A team overpowered Bank of Guyana A 3-1 and Central High 3-0, while their B team hammered Central High A 3-0. Bank of Guyana A turned back the challenge of TTA B 3-2.
The league continues on Monday at the national Gymnasium.
