Guyana will be represented at the upcoming 19th meeting of the XIX forum of Ministers of Environment of Latin America, to be held in Mexico.
Minister of Natural Resources and the Environment, Robert Persaud, and a delegation will be attending the meeting from March 12 to March 14 to discuss concrete measures and practical solutions to deal with challenges as they relate to the environment and natural resources.
Also participating in the meeting is Commissioner of the Protected Areas Commission, Damian Fernandes and other environmental officers.
Persaud said the meeting is aimed at strengthening relations between the two countries with regards to natural resources and the environment.
