Tenelec Inc. U15 Cricket…Police’s Sinclair slams 100 and takes 7-4; Glasgow Jr. snares 10 for Blairmont
Rivalry in the 2014 Tenelec Inc. Under-15 Inter Club cricket competition recently got off to an exciting start in the Ancient County of Berbice.
Highlighting the matches played was the outstanding all round performance of Police player Kevin Sinclair whose off spin accounted for 7 of the Rose Hall Community Centre batsmen for a mere 4 runs skittling out the team for a paltry 13 in their first

Sinclair then returned with the bat to slam an even 100 (retired), featuring in a stand of 186 with Ravindra Beharry who made 42. Police went on to make 217 for 8 declared in their first innings, not giving themselves a chance to push for an outright win as Rose Hall held out for a draw with 19 for 2 in their second innings.
Off spinner Seon Glasgow Jr. took 4-31 and leg spinner Sachin Veerasammy 3-3 to help Blairmont Community Centre bowl out Bush Lot New Generation for 79 in their first innings. Blairmont then led by 65 after Sachin Veerasammy replied with 166 for 6 declared.
Bush Lot a second time around made 112, Kris Ramnarine, a Berbice Under-15 Inter County player stroked 82 while Glasgow took 6-24 to end with match figures of 10 for 55.
Rose Hall Town Farfan and Mendes outright victory over Big Star was built around 62 from Kevon Anderson and an 8 wicket match haul from left arm spinner Emanuel Seecharran.

At Rose Hall in Canje – Police took first innings points from Rose Hall Community Centre in their drawn match. Police 217-8 dec., Kevin Sinclair 100, Ravindra Beharry 42. Rose Hall Community Centre 13 all out; Kevin Sinclair 7 for 4 and second innings 19 for 2.
At Bushlot, West Berbice – Blairmont Community Centre took first innings points from Bush Lot New Generation in their drawn match. Bush Lot New Generation 79; Yuvendra Budhu 34, Seon Glasgow Jr. 4 for 31, Sachin Veerasammy 3 for 3 and second innings 112; Kris Ramnarine 82, Seon Glasgow Jr. 6 for 24, Azez Ishahack 3 for 17.
Blairmont Community Centre first innings 166 for 6 dec.; Sachin Veerasammy 65, Javed Karim 32, Yuvendra Budhu 3 for 26 Kris Ramnarine 2 for 31.
At Rose Hall Town – Rose Hall Town Farfan and Mendes hammered Big Star by an innings and 27 runs.
