Enterprise Primary School recorded consecutive victories when action in the lower East Coast district
of the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB)/Scotiabank nationwide Kiddy cricket festival continued yesterday at Enterprise ground.
In the first game Enterprise defeated St. Andrew’s Primary by 4 runs. The home team batted first and scored 145-7 off their allotted 10 overs. Edmond Pearson led with 19 and Vickram Narine supported with 10. S. Hamilton claimed 3-7 and J. Barry 2-5. St. Andrew’s replied with 141-6 in 10 overs. Isaiah Barry made 12 as Josh Paul captured 3-8 and Narine 2-6.
Enterprise overcame Hope Estate Primary by 146 runs in the second match. Enterprise took first strike and rattled up 221-3 in 10 overs. Pearson continued his fine form with a top score of 20, while Joel Williams scored 16 and extras assisted with 34; Gopaul Doodnauth picked up 2-10.
Hope Estate suffered 11 dismissals in scoring 75 in 10 overs in reply. Paul snared 4-3, Vickram Narine 2-4 and Radha Ramjit 2-5.
