From one calamity to another is the case of some in this country. The police are doing a lot of work trying to solve crimes, largely because of a piece of equipment they received. So far they have had an inside track on some cold cases.
But that would not stop some people from pursuing a life of crime. There will be another crime of passion in the city because of economic pressure. A man is going to attack his spouse because he perceives that she is playing him for his lack of money.

The fires are not yet over. Another house is going to go up in flames. The cause of the fire would be undetermined, but that is going to spark rumours. One rumour would be rooted in the belief that the people were involved in something clandestine when the operation went wrong.

Look out for an upsurge in drug smuggling. Pressure to get cocaine through the main airport would cause a shift to the east. But even here the local media would report that the police there have arrested two Guyanese with the prohibited substance.
Simultaneously, there would be other arrests here in Guyana.
