Bush Lot United Sports Club of Bush Lot Village, West Coast, Berbice, whipped Enmore Cricket Club by 30 runs in a feature 35 overs cricket match played last Sunday at Bush Lot, West Coast Berbice.
The game was played in honour of Abdul Azeez aka Buddy Boy of Bush Lot. Bush Lot United batted first and galloped to 202-7 from their 35 overs. Their assault was led by Brentnol Woolford with 86 from 89 deliveries, Kurt Griffith 59 from 59 deliveries and Javed Saywack with a quick fire 22.

Bowling for Enmore, S. Jainarine led the way with 4 wickets, while G. Moriah picked up 2 wickets.
Enmore in their reply made a spirited effort to reach the target, but eventually fell short as they were dismissed for 172 from 35 overs with B. Ramlakhan top scoring with 43 and former national player Sheik Mohammed making 18.
Bowling for Bush Lot United, Dellon Joseph picked up 3 wickets, while Bramdat Singh supported with 2, and there was one each for Saywack and Keyron Fraser.
The President of the Bush Lot United Sports Club, Mr. Robby Saywack in his presentation thanked the Enmore Cricket Team for visiting and indulging a good contest. He exhorted the players to stay focused and to train hard to achieve success in the game.
The Enmore Cricket Club also thanked the Bush Lot United Cricket Club for hosting them. Both teams agreed to make this an annual affair. (Samuel Whyte)
