With the aim of offering solutions, thereby helping women overcome some of the numerous issues they face on a daily basis, the Freedom Life Ministries Inc. will be hosting a life changing conference this week.
Under the theme “Women Stronger Than Their Struggles,” the ‘Women on the Move’ department of the church has initiated the three day event from Thursday March 6 through March 8, which they are adamant will transform the lives of all who attend.
Describing the conference as an ‘empowerment ,’Head of ‘Women on the Move’ Victorine De Florimonte highlighted that the seminar will be exploring real issues affecting women such as ‘Abusive Relationships’, ‘Broken Relationships’, ‘Fear of Failures’, ‘Rejection’, ‘abuse’, ‘Coping with Singleness’, ‘Empowering Singleness’ ‘Poverty ‘ and ‘Depression.
“These sessions will empower women how to live victorious lives by tapping in to resources that are available to them everyday…indeed women are greater than their struggles but they have to know what the key is to moving from a place of defeat and despair to enjoying a life of freedom, peace and abundance as God ordained it….that’s what this conference will be teaching “.
The symposium which will be held at the church’s sanctuary at 24 Princes and Lyng Streets, Charlestown will be extremely interactive entailing lectures, focus groups, panel discussions and counseling.
On Thursday, the activities will commence from 18:00hrs. The following day proceedings will continue at 13:00hrs. And on Saturday, the final date for the conference, the events will begin at 09:00hrs.
Despite its religious affiliation, the conference is open to all in need of the services, at a cost of $1,000 for registration.
The consultations, counseling and spiritual impartations will be conducted mainly by renowned overseas-based Reverend, Dr. Darlene Day of the USA, Prophet Joel Uwagboe of Nigeria/Guyana and Pastor Kathy- Ann Ali of Trinidad and Tobago.
Dr Day is Pastor for the Kingdom International Ministries of God.
She also oversees the Door of Hope Spanish Ministry, which is based in Los Angeles, California, and House of David Ministry in New York, United States of America.
Day, who is an ordained and licensed Pastor with Emmanuel Church of God, also based in New York City, travels extensively throughout the United States, the Caribbean and the city of Panama, dedicating her time to teaching and preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Mrs. Day is the ideal person to speak at the Freedom Life Ministries Women’s Conference, as she is incredibly versed in speaking on issues affecting women and youths.
In addition to speaking at numerous women and youth conferences, Day also conducts revival services.
She also does ordinations and teaches leadership classes for Pastors everywhere.
Reverend Day received her Bachelors and Masters degrees from the New York University, the New York Law School and Bethel Bible Institute.
Mrs. Day also has her Doctor of Divinity Degree from Christian Bible Institute and Seminary.
Reverend Day is a woman of God, with a passion and intense hunger to teach the people about God. She has a unique evangelistic deliverance spirit that ignites revivals wherever she goes. She is relentless in her pursuit of excellence, in the Word of God and in the Worship of God. Dr. Day sings, teaches, preaches and even plays the drums when necessary to “stir up the Body of Christ.”
Prophet Joel Uwagboe is a Nigerian National who has made Guyana his home. In answering the call of God on his life he has built The Freedom Life Ministries Inc brand stretching and spanning Regions 4 , 5 and 6 in Guyana and Internationally in Jamaica Queens New York.
Prophet Uwagboe is married to Pastor Delight Uwagboe and together they have two (2) children.
