Cornelia Ida and Wales declared joint winners
Cornelia Ida Primary of West Coast and Wales Primary of West Bank were declared joint winners of the West Demerara district after their final matchup ended in a tie when the Guyana Cricket Board/Scotiabank nationwide Kiddy cricket festival continued yesterday at Wales.

Meanwhile, Wales overcame Vreed-en-Hoop Primary by 31 runs in the West Bank final played earlier. Vreed-en-Hoop took first strike and made 102-10 in 10 overs. Sherlon Somerset scored 8; Tiffany Douglas snared three wickets and Christopher Singh two. Wales responded with 133-7 in 10 overs. R. Ragnauth made 7 as Shawn Patterson captured two wickets.
