A Queenstown Village, Essequibo man is nursing a broken leg after an out of control hire car slammed into a bus shed at Queenstown on Sunday last.
The driver, according to reports, attempted to avoid hitting a Sports Utility Vehicle turned across his path suddenly, into a street and ended up crashing into the bus shed where the injured man and a friend were said to be at the time.
The driver of the Sports Utility Vehicle has been detained by the police.
The damaged bush shed has been repaired.
