Dear Editor,
I live obliquely opposite where construction is taking place at 447 Fordyce Street, Phase 11 Republic Park. Yesterday, several loads of sand were dropped off at the site which covered half the road, making it difficult to pass. This morning, more loads of sand were dropped off, this time in the middle of the street blocking all vehicular, cycle and pedestrian traffic. Today there has been no workers on the site. Since around 9.30 am this morning, complaints have been made to the Eccles-Ramsburg NDC. At the time of writing this letter, midday, no action has been taken either by the owners or the NDC. How are we to traverse on this public roadway? The last photo is of a car in the process of turning away from the sand piles which block the street.
This is a holiday weekend.
