Jacques Blackman, who was diagnosed with a heart disease during her early childhood years, is now seeking financial assistance from members of the public to facilitate a much needed surgical intervention.
The 36-year-old New Market Street, Georgetown resident told this newspaper that because of her condition, she has never been able to “live the life of a normal person.”
The woman explained that she has never worked, and is unable to start a family of her own.
“I can’t do certain things. I does have to try and keep myself calm, because I can’t even laugh too hard and get worked up and so. It ain’t easy, because when you see other people living a life that you want to live, but can’t, it hurtful.”
The woman lamented that while growing up, she spent most of her days indoors wishing that she could run around with her friends.
She also wanted to take up a career but life had other plans, and at present, Blackman needs to undergo a surgery, which, if successful, will contribute to her longevity. She is pleading to the Guyanese public to come to her aid.
“I have been living and trying my best to cope all these years, but now I deh at a stage where I really need help…so I begging for some assistance.”
Those desirable of providing Blackman with the needed financial assistance can make contact with her via telephone number 592- 666-9075. She also has a Republic Bank account – 256-608-1.
