Rice farmer Abdool Rafick, of Columbia, Essequibo Coast, is encouraged to continue as a farmer after one of his hefiers gave birth to twin calves recently.
Rafick said that the cow had to be assisted by a veterinary surgeon.
He said that the cow was agitated and was experiencing tremendous pains before giving birth. The identical calves are healthy and are nursing well.
Rafick said he is doing everything to keep his animals safe.
