Five lucky customers were awarded 50 per cent cash back of their transaction value for participating in the Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company (GT&T’s) “it still a holiday with Mobile Money Guyana (MMG) promotion.”
The promotion is geared at relieving mobile money customers of their after holiday expenses.
During a simple presentation ceremony at the MMG Headquarters at Croal Street, Georgetown, last Friday, the winning customers all smiled and cheered as they were presented with cash prizes and tokens of appreciation.
The winners, Andrew Edwards, Bhojnarayan Gopaul, Khemraj Persaud, Ryan Anil Ram, and Hemraj Boudnauth, were all required to pay their bills or send money between January 20 and January 26, 2014 via MMG.
Each week, participants will be rewarded 50 per cent cash back on their transaction value for using MMG service via the promotion, which commenced on January 13, 2014.
Additionally the bill payment service, is offering new registrants free credit as part of a secondary campaign, the “Get Sum n Back,” promotion.
GT&T’s “mobile money” service was initiated by the telephone company to allow its customers to use their mobile phones to conduct a wide range of financial services, including bill payments and money transfers.
The holiday promotion will continue until March 15.
