Surinamese Ambassador to Guyana, Ms. Nisha Kurban-Baboe, made a courtesy call on Guyana’s Minister of Education, Ms. Priya Manickchand, yesterday. They discussed a number of important issues.
Minister of Education, Priya Manickchand, with the Surinamese Ambassador to Guyana, Nisha Kurban-Baboe and an Embassy official.
They also addressed a range of topics dealing with education issues with both countries signaling a desire for increased collaboration. Minister Manickchand expressed the hope that the existing relationship between both countries would be further strengthened through future endeavors.
Guyana continues to build a positive diplomatic relationship with neighboring Suriname and looks forward to more bilateral cooperation as both countries strengthen their diplomatic ties.
