Several changes made
Preparations have recommenced for the previously postponed Boxing Day horserace meet organized by the Kennard Memorial Turf Club and now set for Sunday 26th January 2014 at the clubs entity Bush Lot Farm, Corentyne, Berbice.
Firstly being rescheduled to January 19th, the organisers decided that a more suitable date would be one week later by which time the inclement weather would have cleared up and the horses would have had enough time to train.

The race for animals classified F1 and lower will be for a winning purse of $400,000 and trophy over six furlongs. The G3 and Lower event will have a winning take of $300,000 and trophy also over six furlongs. The horses running in the race for animals classified H and lower over seven furlongs will be aiming for the winner’s money of$250,000 and trophy.
Those going in the Three-year-old event for Guyana bred horses will run over six furlongs also for a winning take of $250,000 and trophy.
