Final to be played under lights

Cricket fans in West Berbice will be in for a treat when the Goodwill Promotions holds its inaugural Republic Anniversary T20 cricket Festival in Region five to celebrate Mashramani this year.
According to the Promotion group, this competition is scheduled to be played on Sunday February 23, which is a National holiday, with the Final to be contested under floodlights.
It is expected that four top teams will vie for supremacy in the one-day knock out tournament in addition to an Invitational match, with the teams vying for bragging rights.
The first match is scheduled to commence at 09: 00hrs and cash and trophies will be up for grabs. During the evening a number of side attractions will be available for the fans, while there will also be gate prizes for spectators.
