Police said that the man’s unidentified body was found at around 13:00 hrs yesterday at the foreshore of the Atlantic Ocean, near Ruby, East Bank Essequibo.
He had been shot at close range to the head, with the bullet apparently entering through the left side and leaving a gaping exit wound on the right.
Police believe that he was slain sometime on Wednesday.

The still-unidentified body is at the Ezekiel Funeral Home awaiting a post mortem.
It is the third brutal murder for the week.
