The Orin Joseph Memorial Dominoes competition is set to start on tomorrow at Faye Joseph residence,
Gaulding Place, South Ruimveldt Park. The tournament is being sponsored by president of the Georgetown Dominoes Association (GDA) Faye Joseph on behalf her late husband and President of the GDA, Orin Joseph, to commemorate his birth anniversary.
Among the teams set to battle for the top prize of a trophy and $100,000 are Rage, Thunder, C7, Specialists, Loggers, Mix Up, Providence, Wild Bunch, F and H, B6, Impressers and Transport. According to Ms Joseph, teams are not required to pay an entrance fee, but late entries will not be accepted. The finals are set for Thursday at the said venue.
Meanwhile, Ms Joseph, Frankie P and organising secretary of the GDA Mark Wiltshire will be hosting an all green excursion to Aruni Creek on the Linden Soesdyke Highway on Boxing Day with transporting leaving Dynasty Sports Bar at 09:30 hrs.
