With over two decades of experience in the technological business, STARR Computers officially opened its Samsung Experience Store Friday last at 59 Brickdam, Georgetown.
With the success of its electronics business, Samsung has been recognized globally as an industry leader in technology.
Samsung Experience Store is one of 41 stores planned for roll out within the Caribbean and Latin America.
President of Starr Computers, Michael Mohan, disclosed that the new authorised Samsung outlet will feature fully interactive displays, and individuals can experience the latest technologies with laptops, mobile phones, tablets and televisions.
Mohan explained that STARR Computers represents 36 major international manufacturers and the company in Partnership with Samsung will offer an experience of the latest products from Samsung along with tutorials, free seminars and training on how to use your new Samsung products.
He said that it was not an easy task to get Samsung onboard since there would inevitably be more resellers in the future as ‘Samsung is a product of the future.’
Adding that having a Samsung store in Guyana would modernize technology, Mohan said his company would be working with the Education Ministry to enhance their technological capabilities.
He credited Republic Bank with making customers happy as the bank facilitates hire purchase through their credit line.
Underscoring that personnel will be trained to execute repairs, Mohan said customers can benefit from International Warranty that can include free parts and labour.
General Manager Rehman Majeed said Samsung Electronics leads the global digital market in high-tech electronics manufacturing and digital media through innovative, reliable products and services, talented people and a relentless pursuit of discovery.
Meanwhile, in 2014 STARS which boasts the largest service center in Guyana will be involved in educational seminars, school projects, educating the public on cell phones and radiation in addition to genuine and generic products.
