Police have detained a Port Kaituma man who allegedly stabbed his brother to death in the North West location at around 13:00 hrs on Wednesday.
A release stated that Richard France, 20, of Fallstop, Port Kaituma, was involved in an argument with his brother when he was fatally stabbed.
The suspect has been detained.
Police had also reported the murder of a Terrence France, whose body, with several chop wounds, was found at around 05:00 hrs on December 1 at Eight Miles Backdam, Port Kaituma.
Recently-released police statistics showed that there have been 33 recorded murders in the interior (F Division) up to the end of November; exceeded only by the 48 in Georgetown for the same period.
