Shabazz offers support for Chico, Kashif and Shanghai Schools’ football
Fixtures released
Jamal Shabazz, who was the main presenter at the recently concluded coaches seminar for the 24 schools taking part in the Chico, Kashif & Shanghai schools’ football tournament, has now reached out in support once again. This time Mr. Shabazz has donated a quantity of game balls and the coaches out of Linden have made contact with Mr. Shabazz and requested some assistance with acquiring bibs. The presentation was made yesterday at the Jean Pierre Complex in Trinidad to Mr. Aubrey ‘Shanghai’ Major.
So once again he has donated the bibs to the school of Linden and has thrown out the challenge to the rest of the coaches to seek his assistance and guidance. Mr. Shabazz has also promised the K&S Organization to garner even more support next year with Allah’s blessings.
Mr. Shabazz and two scouts will be at the tournament looking at the talent on offer with the possibility of having those top players have stints later in the T&T League.
Mr. Aubrey ‘Shanghai’ Major thanked Mr. Shabazz for his continued support to the development of Guyana’s football and has promised that the 24 Schools taking part in this year’s tournament will be the pillar on which Guyana’s football will stand.
Meanwhile, the organisors have released the fixtures of the tournament, which kicks off on December 8 at the GCC ground Bourda with a double header following the opening proceedings.
The opening matches pit Wisburg Sec against East Ruimveldt Sec from 4:00pm, while Ann’s Grove Sec come up against Christ Church Sec at 6:00pm in the nightcap.
