The Minister of Home Affairs and General Secretary of the People’s Progressive Party/Civic turned out yesterday to host the first of his usual weekly press conference since he came out of hospital.
The Minister was absent from both of his offices for almost two weeks as he was taken down by what has been described as “flu-like symptoms.”
Specifications about his somewhat lengthy illness remain a secret as Kaieteur News is only aware of what was heard through the proverbial grapevine.
The Minister was under observation for a few days at a private city hospital before he ventured to the United States to undergo “further tests.”
But Rohee made it a point yesterday to note that he is still recuperating, but, “as you can see I still have my zest and vitality.”
