Just when dem boys believe that nutten can shock dem, dem wake up and find that Bobby Ramroop got plans fuh buy over de whole of Bourda. When dem boys hear de news right away dem think that de man buying Bourda market, and all dem house wha deh in de area.
Is when dem see de letter wha he write that dem realize that de man moving fuh tek over Georgetown Cricket Club and Georgetown Football Club. Dem boys know that GCC was wheh dem use to play test cricket and at GFC dem use to play international football.
Is not by accident that GCC and GFC decline. Is not by accident that people had to break down some stalls at GCC. This was part of a plan that was in de making since 2005. De government decide to build de stadium and right away GCC tun a dog pen. Nobody was coming to play any big cricket there.
De same thing happen to football. Everything start to play at de stadium at Providence. Even de club members ease up going to de GCC club fuh a drink suh de pavilion start fuh deteriorate. Dem did stop going to GFC a long time ago.
Bobby Ramroop see this and he put out a plan to cripple de stadium. Already de stadium got some white elephant. De canteens wha dem mek ain’t wukking. That is why Ramroop now seh that he gun build a stadium wid an international bar and world class restaurant and things like that.
Wha people ain’t see coming is that he gun shut down a section of North Road. He gun get that fuh free after he tek over Bourda ground. He got de money and dem boys don’t have to wonder wheh he get it.
One thing is certain, by de time anti-money laundering Bill pass he gun be in a powerful position.
