A release from the Georgetown Football Association, who have collaborated with Vision Sports and Entertainment Agency to host a two-match Caribbean Inter Club Football series involving Boystown FC out of Jamaica and Guyana’s Alpha United, Sunburst Camptown and Buxton United on November 29 and December 1, stated that the matches will now be played at the Georgetown Football Club (GFC) ground, Bourda.
According to the release, the change in venue is due mainly to the inclement weather which has left the original venue the GCC ground heavily waterlogged and unable to host the matches.
The release added that the surprise artistes will be Christopher Martin and Dwayne Stephenson and fans are being encouraged to come out and witness the local clubs tackle their counterparts from Jamaica or Reggae Boyz country as it’s popularly known.
