Radio, television, and cable deh in Guyana fuh knock dog. Jagdeo give way a whole set, but only to he friends, because he know that de thing to do is to mek sure that once he open he mouth de whole country gun hear.
He give couple people one, one station, but that is fuh help certain people spread joy fuh de few who living fuh party. Is pure music. And Jagdeo know, because he was de one who select dem. And he know wha he was doing when he ask de lawyer woman to set up a commission fuh give out licence.
Hen See Hen did not qualify fuh a licence, but nobody didn’t care ‘bout that. De whole country know that nobody can shut down Hen See Hen. Nobody coulda shut down Rob de Earth station. Jagdeo give he five, but Rob de Earth tell de lawyer lady that he gun only use up three. But although he did only want to keep three, he refuse to give back de two. Dem boys seh that he planning fuh sell dem.
But de radio story is more than people believe and is now people understand de lie dem tell. When dem boys ask Bharrat why he had to give five frequency, he reply that de five was to help dem expand dem signal. Some was fuh broadcast as repeater station.
Lo and behold Bharrat best friend, Barbie, set up all of dem to broadcast in Georgetown and dem got de place hot. And de man selling ads pun all. Wha dem boys seh is that de more station you got is de more advertisement you can get.
But dem got some who frighten fuh talk. One of dem tell dem boys that if he open he mouth dem gun tek back dem licence. Another one claim that he didn’t pay duty suh if he only seh anything bout de radio, is tax in he tail.
One thing is certain, though, all who keeping quiet gun live to regret. Even Donald gun regret wha’ happen wid de radio and is not dem boys seh suh.
