Corruption is something that common in Guyana. In fact people want to know if that is de new name fuh de country just like how New York name de Big Apple and how Chicago name de Windy City and how Denver name de Mile High City.
De country was de Cooperative Republic. It look like Cooperative Republic gone and Corruption’ replace dem two words.
Imagine Jagdeo give away radio licence and Rob de Earth sister get one. She get a local lawyer to file de papers and she had to come to Guyana and sign de papers. De only thing is that nobody coulda remember if is she really come to Guyana. In fact dem believe that somebody sign fuh she.
People check de signature and dem believe that de signature is a forgery because it ain’t match she signature that deh pun some of de documents that she sign in de States wheh she live. Dem boys seh that is one thing to sign but is another thing fuh mek people sign fuh you.
But even this is just de tip of de iceberg because de people who apply fuh licence hear that dem got to have at least fifty per cent Guyanese ownership. Now dis lady live in de States and she is a citizen. But to please she, de powers claim how Guyana does allow dual citizenship, suh she qualify as a Guyanese.
Yet other people couldn’t get de same licence although dem brother navel string bury in Guyana but dem live in de States. That is why dem boys believe that dem got different laws fuh different people. And dem boys ain’t got no problem except that forgery is a problem. If de lady ain’t sign, then she can’t claim to sign de document fuh mek she get a licence and if she ain’t de one who sign, then de licence suggest fraud.
Dem boys intend to check wid immigration to see when was de last time this lady come to Guyana and if that ain’t happen then somebody got to answer nuff question. But de truth is that de radio dem really belong to Rob de Earth. He got I-News, he got TV, suh wha can stop he from getting radio and do wha all he colleagues does do, put de thing in other people name.
Talk half and just think about de trickery that going on.
