Guyana is a place wheh law and order break down. Now-a-days people can do anything and know that dem got a fairy godfather in more ways than one. A man shoot another one in Orange Walk and spend couple days in de lock-ups.
A storeowner present de video evidence. People stay home and see how de man come out of he car, point de gun at de man and shoot he. De man drop like a log. De shooter then get in he car, drive away and lick down a set of traffic lights.
He get hold and he end up in hospital. Dem boys seh that he was drunk when he shoot de man suh when he ketch heself he claim how he ain’t shoot nobody.
Well dem boys seh that who got money will spend. It look like if de shoot man family really share money because even de police who was to testify in court didn’t tun up. And is not that dem get transfer. De man who give de police de video of de shooting didn’t tun up in court because de police didn’t call he and fuh sure dem didn’t present de video in court. In short, dem didn’t have nutten to show that there was a shooting. Even de man who get shoot done dead and bury suh dem couldn’t present de body in court.
Anyhow, when de case call de police was absent and everything else. Was only de prison warders and de killer. De magistrate had no other option but to send home de man.
When dem boys ask de police commissioner why de police didn’t tun up in court he tell dem that is Christmas and de police busy. Dem boys call de DPP and she busy all day. Well some people she dem ain’t gun let she rest till she put de case back in court.
But fuh now, is a case of who got money will spend.
Talk half and watch all dem rich ones pay dem way out of trouble.
