The Demerara Harbour Bridge yesterday presented sponsorship representing

500 tickets for one day of the Chico Kashif and Shanghai Secondary Schools football tournament to allow all School children to see games for free.
The Elite Next Generation Secondary School Tournament is scheduled for December 8, 2013 and concludes on January 1, 2014.
Handing over the sponsorship on behalf of the Demerara Harbour Bridge was Finance Officer Mr. Latchman Kumar, who presented the tickets to Mr Kashif Muhammad, Director of the Kashif & Shanghai Organization.
Mr. Kumar said they were proud to be associated with the tournament and in so doing are paying for 500 tickets for school children from the schools on the East Bank to attend the games free of cost. Mr. Mohamed thanked the management and staff for their contribution and said this will take the total number of days sponsored for children to 11 and they are excited to very soon be able to let the children know that the entire tournament will be free for all school children.
