Kennard Memorial Turf Club will be hosting a race meet on Boxing Day at the Bush Lot Farm, Corentyne, Berbice racetrack.
Events slated for the day are J 3 and K-WA for a distance of 6 furs with the winner pocketing $150,000, G 1 and Lower WA 6 furs, the victor will take home $400,000, 2 years-Guyana and West Indies Bred 6 furs with $400,000 going to the winner, J 1 and Lower W\A 6 furs, the champion will receive $200,000, D3 Maiden and E Lower WA 7 furs, $600,000 going to the winner, 3 years West Indies Bred Maiden and Guyana Bred (open) 1 mile, the first place finisher will cart off $600,000.
The feature race is the A and Lower allotted (WTS) with $1,500,000 going to the victor. There is also the I and Lower – WA 7 furs, the winner will collect $250,000.
The races will be run under the regulations of the Guyana Horse Racing Authority and entries will close on December 15; no late entries will be accepted.
