Sohshanmn Sancharran, the 20-year-old driver who struck and killed 61-year-old,Bhagwanden Narine,a/k”Babu Gee”, with a speeding car last Wednesday ,on the Sparta Public Road was released on $100,000 station bail.
Charges are yet to be instituted against the driver. They say that they are awaiting directions , from the Director Of Public Prosecution.
Meanwhile, the other driver,who is reportedly from Dartmouth Village, on the Essequibo Coast has not been apprehend as yet. He allegedly hit and killed 75-year-old, Narine Singh, of Riverstown,on Wednesday last, hours after Soncharran allegedly struck down Baghawanden Narine.
Soncharran was proceeding North along the Lima Public Road when he reportedly attempted to overtake Narine who was proceeding in the same direction. Narine was said to be in front of Soncharran on his motorcycle CF9646, delivering newspaper.
Narine’s right foot was severed.
The speeding Dartmouth driver was proceeding North,along the Riverstown Public road. Reports are that the driver struck and killed Narine in front of his gap. The driver fled the scene and later abandoned his car HB4188 aback of Dartmouth.
