Rivalry in the Ramcharitar Construction Services first division 50 over knockout competition organised by the Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) will get cracking today with four of six first round matches.
A total of thirteen teams will compete in this year’s competition, Young Warriors Universal DVD drawing a first round bye.
Today’s Matches
1. Port Mourant Karibee Rice plays Skeldon Community Centre at Port Mourant
2. D’Edward takes on West Berbice at D’Edward
3. Edinburgh are at home to Universal Solutions Bermine
4. Guytrac Upper Corentyne engage Police at No. 69
All matches will commence at 09:30hrs and clubs are asked to take note that the BCB will be instituting a fine for games starting late where host clubs are found guilty of late pitch preparations or when the visiting team turns up late. The officiating Umpires are expected to submit reports on such occurrences.
Meanwhile, the other two matches, Blairmont Community Centre against Albion Community Centre at Blairmont and Bush Lot Rising Star against Rose Hall Town Gizmos & Gadgets at Bush Lot, West Coast Berbice are scheduled to be played next Saturday, November 16.
