The Kashif & Shanghai Organization yesterday met with the secondary

schools from Georgetown, West Demerara, East Coast & East Bank in an effort to get the ball rolling on participation in this year’s Chico Kashif & Shanghai Secondary Schools Football Championship.
Questions were raised by the representatives of the schools and they were all met with clarification from the organizers they also went through the rules of the tournament and what is expected from all the teams participating.
The same will be happening today at Jack’s restaurant in Linden for the schools participating from that region. The organizers have also make it Clair that from this year’s tournament, there will be selecting an all-star team to represent Guyana against the top schools from Trinidad, St. Lucia & Suriname in April of 2014 in a tournament to be held in ether one of these countries.
