Sixty-one-year-old Bhagwanden Narine, a/k Gurragie, of Lima, Essequibo Coast died at
the Suddie Hospital after he was involved in an accident with a motor car, Wednesday morning, on the Sparta Public Road.
One of Narine’s legs was amputated due to the severity of his injury when he was rushed to hospital in a critical condition. Narine was the newspaper vendor on the Essequibo Coast.
Sohshanmn Sancharran, 20, of Lot 19 Charity, Essequibo Coast, who was driving his car PMM 7326,on the Sparta Public Road when he hit Narine, was apprehend by the police. He reportedly lost control of his vehicle.
Police reports are that Sancharran and the newspaper vendor were both proceeding North, along the Sparta Public Road when the driver lost control of his vehicle and collided with the paper vendor, and knocked him off of his motorcycle.
