Adjhoda Persaud, 56, died moments after he suffered a fit and fell into a trench at Reliance, on the Essequibo Coast onThursday.
Residents said that Persaud was seen riding a bicycle earlier Thursday. Later in the day his lifeless body was discovered in the trench.
The body was taken to the Suddie Mortuary to await a Post Mortem examination.
One of Persaud’s brothers spoke of seeing him on Saturday after he had visited his home and asked for some coconuts. Persaud’s wife’s, Dewattie Persaud, is hospitalized.
Persaud is survived by his wife and a son who resides overseas.
And three-year-old Elita Mathias, formerly of the Upper Pomeroon River, drowned after she fell overboard on Monday.
