OP sources solar panels, nine entities bid

The Office of the President (OP) is apparently planning to improve its energy efficiency since the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB) opened nine (9) bids yesterday for the supply of solar panels for that office. These bids were among those opened for six entities at NPTAB, Ministry of Finance on Main Street.

The bids for the supply of Solar Panels for the Office of the President were as follows:

Under the Guyana Defence Force one bid was received for the repair and refurbishment of GDFS 1025 Tira Puku – Motor life boat for 2013.

The Ministry of Public Works received bids for rehabilitation/construction of additional miscellaneous roads for Regions Three and Four in 2013. Bids were supplied for five lots by the respective interested entities, with Puran Brothers Disposal Inc only bidding for one.

The National Drainage and Irrigation Authority (NDIA) received bids for the supply of lights for its equipment operating within the Dochfour/Hope Relief Channel Project.
