East Coast Cricket Board Trophy Competition Bravados, Fairfield among winners in last Sunday’s action

Bravados and Fairfield were among the teams that recorded victories last Sunday when play in the East Coast Cricket Board Trophy Competition continued. Lusignan, better Hope and Ogle also recorded wins according to a release from the ECCB. Here are the full results of the matches played:
Bravados vs Avish Auto Sales at Unity: Avish Auto Sales won the toss and batted first, making 153 runs for 7 from 30 overs; Krishna Arjune made 47 N/o, Shiv Daalchand 31 runs and Chris Surat 28 runs. Bowling for the Bravados; Carl Gilkes 5-0-36-3 and Alex Cully 6-0-17-2. Bravados in reply made 155 runs for 5 from 25.5 overs. Garfield De Roche made 36 runs N/o, Jousha Lakan 26 runs, and Carl Gilkes 22 runs N/o, Bowling for Avish Auto Sales, Krishna Arjune 6-0-34-3. Bravados winning by five wickets.
Fairfield vs Mahaica Sports Club at Fairfeild: Mahaica Sports Club won the toss and batted first making 118 runs all out from 31.1 overs. Prakash Choutie made 32 runs and S. Chandraj 25 runs. Bowling for Fairfield Sewedail Naidu 7.4-0-19-3 and Richard Chatura 8-0-27-3. Fairfield in reply made 119 runs for 9 wicket from 30.4 overs; Wasim Mustapha made 29 runs. Bowling for Mahaica Sports Club D. Persaud 6-0-15-3, S. Chandraj 6-0-24-3 and A. Lovell 8-0-32-3. Fairfield winning by 1 wicket.
Ogle (Blue) vs Lusignan (B) At Ogle: Lusignan (B) won the toss and batted first making 207 runs for 9 from 40 overs. A. Andersen made 41 runs and B. Samroo 33 runs. Bowling for Ogle (Blue) Anthony Bento 8-0-37-5 and Sahadeo Ramkellawan 8-0-24-2. Ogle (Blue) in reply making 161 runs all out from 33 overs. Adrian Persaud made 42 runs and Brian Sookram 35 runs. Bowling for Lusignan (B) Steve Alick 7-0-32-2 and A. Andersen 4-0-17-1.
Lusignan (B) won by 47 runs.
Better Hope (A) vs Golden Grove (A) at Better Hope: Better Hope (A) won the toss and batted first making 287 runs for the 6 from 40 overs. Suresh Budhu made 108 runs N/o. Chris Deonarine 47 runs and Ravi Singh 44 runs. Bowling for Golden Grove (A), Orin Gardner 8-0-42-4 and Winston London 8-0-39-2. Golden Grove (A) in reply made 186 runs all out from 33 overs; Richard Woolford made 43 runs and B. Reid 27 runs. Bowling for Better Hope (A), Ravi Singh 8-0-31-3 and Rasheed Rohoman 6-1-38-3 and Suresh Budhu 5-0-25-2. Better Hope (A) won by 102 runs.
Lusignan (A) vs Ogle (Red) at Lusignan: Lusignan (A) batted first making 146 runs all out from 34 overs; Steve Ramdass made 51 runs and Kumar Bishundial 32 runs. Bowling for Ogle (Red) Anand Persaud 8-0-37-3 and Anora Gomes 3.4-0-20-2. Ogle (Red) in reply made 147 runs or 4 from 33 overs. Kemraj Dindial made 46 run N/o and Darshanand Pooran 32 runs.
Ogle winning by 6 wickets.
