Quarter-final fixtures have been set for this year’s Petra Organisation / Courts Pee Wee Schools Football Competition which is scheduled to resume on Saturday, at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.
In the first of the four quarter-final matches, the rampaging St. Pius will take on another unbeaten team F.E. Pollard at 10:00 hrs and this game will be played simultaneously with a 9 -16th placed playoff between last year’s champions Marian Academy and Ketley.
The next quarter-final matchup will see St. Margaret’s attempt to halt the winning streak of East La Penitence in what is anticipated to be an exciting clash from 11:00hrs with South Ruimveldt and Redeemer squaring off for one of the minor positions.
The third quarter-final game is between Tucville and Enterprise and even though the former, who was last year’s beaten finalist have not looked at their best, they are a dangerous team and should not be underestimated.
Enterprise too has been inconsistent at times, but at this stage of the tournament any team could spring an upset.
The corresponding game is between J.E. Burnham and St. Stephen’s.
In the final last eight fixture, St. Gabriel’s take on West Ruimveldt in another game that should provide some fireworks, but the latter team has performed consistently and should start as favourites, while St. Gabriel’s has proven to be a stubborn opponent.
St. Ambrose and North Georgetown square off for one of the minor spots.
Fans, supporters, teams and parents are being asked to notice the change of venue.

10:00 hrs – Marian Academy v/s Ketley Primary – 9-16
