Some fifty members of the Lusignan Golf Club (LGC) will this Saturday at 11:00 hours tee off to signal the start of another sponsored Demerara Distilleries Limited tournament, under the El Dorado brand.
At stake are prizes for the top four players along with the Best Gross, Nearest to the Pin and Longest drive.
Club captain Mr. Chatterpaul Deo, who has been featuring in the top places over the past three weeks, is expected to be in reckoning again with William Walker and Alfred Mentore, Patrick Prashad, Clifford Reis, Mark Lashley, M. Dininauth, V. Deo, Kishun Bacchus, Mike Guyadin, Roy Cummings, Carlos Adams, Troy Cadogan, Brain Hackett, Brian Gasford, Jorge Madina among others also in the hunt.
In the female category where much interest is budding, last Weeks’s champion Shanulla Webster will be looking to maintain her winning streak against season campaigner Christine Sukhram and Joann Deo in contention.
The next competition on the calendar of events is the Safeway Security Inc. tournament set for the following weekend.
