GCU&SA AGM set for November 28

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Georgetown Cricket Umpires and Scorers Association (GCU&SA) will be held on Thursday November 28 at 17:00 hrs at CCWU, Quamina Street, Georgetown. All umpires\members are asked to make a special effort to attend.
Umpires are asked to note that the Laws of Cricket has been revised with effect from 2013-10-01 with the release of the MCC LAWS OF CRICKET – 5TH EDITION 2000 CODE, and are  requested to ensure that they equip themselves with a Copy of the changes to the laws.
Meanwhile, the GCU&SA is desirous of holding a ONE (1) DAY TRAINING SEMINAR for all our Umpires at a Convenient date, time and venue which will be announced shortly.
The purpose of this Seminar is to appraise Umpires on the Changes in the Laws of Cricket, Latest and new information with respect to Cricket Umpiring, Techniques, Control and Management Cricket Matches, Deportment, Third and Fourth Umpire duties and other relevant information with respect to a high and consistent standard of Cricket Umpiring.
