Tech Twenty\20 bowls off in Wakenaam tomorrow

Tech Twenty\20 cricket competition sponsored by Safraz Sheriffuddin bowls off in Wakenaam tomorrow with several matches. Sans Souci Jaguars will play Maria’s Pleasure at 09:30 hrs and at 13:30 hrs the Jaguars will take on Good Success; both matches are slated for the Wakenaam Community Centre ground. Zeelandia will host Noitgedacht Sports Club at 09:30 hrs and Sans Souci at 13:30 hrs.
Meanwhile, Chandrika Ragnauth XI defeated Kemo Paul XI by 8 wickets in a 30 over match played last Sunday at the Wakenaam Community Centre ground. Paul XI batted first and scored 239 all out in 39 overs with Nokta Moses top scoring with 78 while Paul hammered 51 and Zameer Zaman 39. Vickram Ramnarine grabbed 3-50 and Ragnauth 2-31.
Ragnauth XI replied with 240-2 in 27.3 overs. Tulsieram Ramadeen led the batting with 54; Oyono Sampson cracked 44 and Kennard Lewis made 39. Extras contributed a mammoth 58. Ramadeen was given the man of the match award, while Ragnauth XI received a trophy. The game was sponsored by Mustak Furniture Store.
