Specialists chalked 80 games to win the final of the David Hunte Dominoes competition which was contested recently at Middle Street Pouderoyen, West Bank Demerara.
Andrew Hope top scored with a maximum of 18 games, while Paul Lewis and Michael Wall made 17 each for the winners. Providence took the runner up spot with 74 games and Thunder placed third with 71. Junior Smith made 17 and Eon Davis 15 for the runner up team, while Michael Critchlow and Faye Joseph were Thunder leading players with 16 and 15 games respectively.
Specialist took home $150,000 and a trophy, Providence received $75,000 and Thunder $35,000. Hope was the most valuable player in the final.
The competition was sponsored by Ten to Midnight, Ravi Enterprise, Fitness Express and David Hunte.
