In preparation for the upcoming Flex Night Berbice event, scheduled to be held on Saturday October 26 at the Corentyne Comprehensive High School, Port Mourant, Flex Night Inc. recently conducted an Outreach Exercise involving bodybuilders from the Upper Corentyne area.
The team coordinating the Upper Corentyne event comprised Raheem Ali, Flex Night Regional Coordinator for Berbice; Nankumar Sukhdeo, Manager of Flex and Fitness Gym in Hampshire,
Port Mourant and Hashim Jameer of House of Pain Gym in Ankerville.
The planning and coordination in Skeldon itself were done by Mr. Lyndon Murray of the Skeldon Community Centre Gym.
The outreach took place at the Skeldon Community Centre and attracted representatives from as far as Port Mourant and New Amsterdam.
The group discussed measures to raise the level of participation in bodybuilding events and agreed that the first Upper Corentyne Flexout would be held in March 2014.
Plans for this event would be spearheaded by Mr. Lyndon Murray in collaboration with Flex Night Inc. officials.
