According to the charge, Delon Glasgow, 18, of Lot 687 East Ruimveldt Housing Scheme, murdered Jules Walker between August 10 and August 11, last.

Walker was missing a days before residents of Charlestown, first spotted a corpse floating in the Princes Street canal. Heavy rainfall and strong currents pushed the body further to a koker that facilitates drainage into the Demerara River.
On August 11, 2013 the body of Jules Walker, 33, of Lot 7 Ogle Front, East Coast Demerara was pulled from the canal several hours after relatives and friends of the deceased conducted a meticulous search of the area.
