The Athletics Association of Guyana (AAG) has identified its Inter-Guiana Games (IGG) team slated to
compete in Suriname later this month, following trials last month. The names of those respective athletes will be submitted to the National Sports Commission.
Junior sprint aces, Alita Moore and Tirana Mitchell was named amid phenoms, Jevina Sampson, Jevina Straker and Cassie George. The other females include, Natricia Hooper, Cassie Kirton, Kelanie Griffith, Mearisha Carter, Niossi Alsoop, Tiffany Pilgrim, Kristy Roberts and Claudrice McKoy.
Jason Yaw will spearhead the males among Kevin Abbensetts, Rondel Gibbons, Kwesi Blair, Quacy Simpson, Ornesto Thomas, Kevin Nicholas, Samuel Kaitan, Parish Cadogan, Samuel Gray, Yoel Benjamin, Damon Williams and Laured Stewart.
The officials named include, Mayfield Taylor-Trim, the Police Progressive Youth Club Coach, Lyndon Wilson and Mercury Fast Laners Coach, Christopher Gaskin.
